See, a lot of that is pure horse***t. The American Historical Society has thousands of members, and they find 400, with a few prominent names highlighted, to weigh in. Big deal! It is like getting a bunch of scientists, irrespective of discipline, to comment on the value of particle accelerators--- which, come to think of it, is what the Union of Concerned Scientists does:-)...
