Ga Bard...you want to hear something funny. I wanted to transfer my account from my home town broker to E*Trade. I only have two stock there. AREE is worth $59.15 and MIDLW is halted. I asked them how much it would cost to transfer them. He said he thought $50.00 but would check with his Branch Office. I called back 15 minutes later and he said, " If you sell them and get them out of here, I won't charge any commission. I only want accounts that have a minimum of $10,000." I told him I couldn't sell MIDLW right now because it was halted. He said when it starts trading again we will sell them both with no commission. He was more than excited when I spent $600 and $500 when I bought them from him. Commission to buy them was $126, now that they aren't worth much, he wants to dump me. Well, guess what I'm going to do to him when they are sold. :-)
