JD, Best thing to enter a stock (disclaimer: most of the time), is around 1010 - 1030 ET after the frenzy is over and when the stock has given enough tell-tale sign of the day's direction. But if you're a "cost averager" on entries like myself, it doesn't seem to matter... the normal gap-filling habit of stocks does not seem to apply to the nets. SF
