Just watched the Online Investors Advantage Tape that the company sent me for FREE. The company acted very professionally by giving me the tape which retails for $24.95 after they heard my unfortunate story in Chicago. The 90 minute free seminar that the tape features is an introduction to the two day workshop the company offers for a fee. Very well done!!!!! I was actually somewhat impressed as to the information in the tape and the topics they were going to cover. It's an interactive introduction to online investing, telling investors the tools on the web they could use. Also, the seminars teach investors about techinical patterns to watch for, how to pick the best online brokerage, what tools on the web are available, etc...but do not promote daytrading! Specifically, they promoted Online Investor Advantage web sites which are paid web sites that investors could use to obtain information on any stock. These
sites for example sort information by ranking the stocks according to any of 700 possible queries. For example, you could use the paid site to ask which are the top 25 stocks that had the greatest amount of insider buying over the last week or month. As for promotion of swiftrade, there was none, but the date of the recording was late 1998 (before Ziasun's acquistion). So I simply called OIA and asked do they plan to promote swiftrade in upcoming seminars. They said that they are legally bound to recommend several sites for online investing, however, such rules do not exist abroad. So whenever the company does go abroad, they do plan to promote Swiftrade to the max. Synergy at its best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
