Why I think IBM will sell off after they announce. Ibm may not be totally a PC company but they are to an extent and many people view tham as such. Lately the market has been scared to death of anything PC and IBM fits the bill enough. Although IBM has a realatively low P/E and is a good bit off its highs it is still very expensive as far as IBM's stock is priced. They have continued to have low sequential growth numbers and difficulty in the PC sector for awhile. Given this it seems to me that this time will only be more of the same and may be a bit worse. If it is people are waiting to shoot it down more so than ever. Remember it is one of two PC-ish companies not to get hit yet so it seems to me that it is just asking. Do some chart analysis also on this one. Look at where it came from and what the others that are similar have done after they announced numbers. Even microsoft sold off abit after it announced and it had an almost flawless report. IMHO IBM could see 150 very very soon (this week). Good luck to all
