Europe is more egalitarian than the U.S. Just because we own a
cable system doesn't mean we can charge anything we like for it.
I suspect that price control will limit the growth of profits
in UPCOY. Do you have any evidence to the contrary? Also UPCOY
includes only certain small countries, not Europe as a whole.
This must be a disadvantage. The capital expenditure also seems
enormous. Take a country like Norway; the distances are large
and the population density very low, outside of Oslo and Bergen.
How do you string cable there, and in Eastern Europe where they
have poor infrastructure, without spending big euros?
