Ramsey, I don't think that zip disks are cheap enough for software manufacturers yet. Maybe in the future, who knows. But, CD Roms are so cheap to stamp out that they are going to be the media of choice for distribution for a long time.

As far as pressuring manufacturers to carry the zip, this is already happening. I've heard of a lot of people calling different manufacturers like Gateway etc. anbd asking them when they will have the zip. Basically, if we buy the HP and Micron computers with the zip in them, this will put a lot of pressure on other OEMS.
