It Works: 04/21 01:28 EST SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS WINS VALIDATION FOR RAMBUS DRAM SEOUL, Apr 21, 1999 (Asia Pulse via COMTEX) -- South Korea's Samsung Electronics Co. (KSE: 05930) said Wednesday that its Rambus DRAM chip has passed the Rambus validation test conducted by Intel, confirming Samsung RDRAM's performance in an actual operating environment. Samsung's 72-M and 144-M RDRAMs comply with specifications set by Intel, which operates an independent Validation Program to test the operation, functions and electrical characteristics of RDRAMs. Samsung began mass production of the 72-M and 144-M RDRAMs in January and is supplying them to customers worldwide.
