Ken,

Since Jodie Glore said he expected total Clik! revenues to be around 10% of total Iomega revenues for 1999 that means (between Michael, you and me) revenues for the Clik! line will have to total between $164 million and $200 million to "fit" at least one of our three prediction scenarios for 1999.

I would appreciate it if you would "critique" my assumptions and "reasoning" regarding Clik! sales in 1999. Here is a link to a previous post with my assumptions and "estimated" Clik! sales for 1999:

Message 9004403

What am I missing here? Where am I way off? Are all of us not including numbers for some "killer" OEM Clik! application that all three of us aren't yet privy to? Are all three of us that lost?

I believe Michael said he was using about $100 million for 1999 Clik! revenues but further said "don't count on it". I'm at $109 million and you are at $66 million....between the three of us, we're all over the map!

It's becoming more and more obvious to me that Clik! revenues is the biggest single unknown here and will dramatically impact one or all of our predictions for 1999 and the following years.

What basis or assumptions are you using to arrive at your predicted Clik! revenues for 1999 as opposed to my assumptions and resultant guesses?

Grasping for answers,

Dave
