Multex.com and Intuit Sign Agreement Making Multex.com Exclusive Provider of Brokerage Research for Quicken.com
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 21, 1999--Multex.com (NASDAQ: MLTX - news) announced today a new multi-year agreement with Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ: INTU - news) to become the exclusive provider of brokerage research for Quicken.com (http://www.quicken.com), Intuit's leading personal finance Web site, and the Money & Investing/Personal Finance channels of all Quicken.com partner sites, including Excite (NASDAQ: XCIT - news), AOL.COM, Webcrawler and Prodigy (NASDAQ: PRGY - news).
This agreement significantly expands Multex.com's Web distribution for the Multex Investor Network (http://www.multexinvestor.com), a Multex.com Web site aimed at individual investors. The partnership also provides Quicken.com and its partner sites with direct access to research from leading investment banks, brokerage firms and third-party research providers worldwide.
Through the agreement, Multex.com's broker research headlines will be integrated into Quicken.com's quotes and research area to offer Quicken.com users comprehensive stock research. The new partnership will launch in mid-May and more details concerning the product offering will be announced at that time.
