Dear Victor: I am a CPA though havent practiced in 8 years. IMHO based upon what I have known in the past the only REALIZATION of profit on AV would come from the sale of shares to the IPO. I dont think the proceeds would be used to reduce the INVESTMENT account, but it might. As far as the remaining shares held, no effect until realization. But, even though its not a bookable event the Hidden Value would not go unnoticed by the Analysts. JDN
