We now have two analysts predicting $200-210 a year from now. For those new to the thread, Alex Cena has historically been the one analyst who best understands the company. Although he was out ahead when the Southeast Asia scare hit, his earnings estimates have been the best. He did get burned and got a bit more conservative. It is very interesting that the Alex Brown analyst estimates FY2000 EPS at $5.40, somewhat above Cena's estimate. Get ready for Cabi to again question the company's ability to compete against MOT and NOK in the handset business.

These estimates may be conservative, but it's extremely difficult to predict with the restructuring and you can't price on pie in the sky but only what you are comfortable with. Admittedly, the company has not faced stiff competition in the handset division and that is an unknown situation. I think the Thin Phone will tell us a lot.
