That is what I think too... but unless we push this joker to provide a source... which he won't be able to... it will just keep lurking around. Personally, I think Rogers is more likely to help bid.com get their foot in the door with @home (purely personal speculation). Rogers has great foresight and that would help their interests as well. It would make for a great press release a few days after the Q1 results are released.
