Yet another snafu with DumbMedia. I suggest you e-mail the link to the customer service people at Diamond. People buying the Rio! should know about this before coughing up the cash to get the device.

Creative and Diamond have sunken their own ship. They had a choice to use CF or even MMC and they blew it. I wonder if the Nomad device has the same problem.

"Rio! The mp3 player that eats SmartMedia cards."

They deserve whatever they get. The retailers are not going to be happy about this when the cards and players get returned in numbers.
