When I was at ASCRS, I asked the people in the KERA exhibit about the FDA approval wording which implied that they could not advertise "reversible". The guy said that over 90% of patients indicate in post-op surveys that they chose rings over the laser because of reversibility. I think that little gotcha in the FDA approval is partly responsible for the post approval tanking the stock has taken. Major investors were sold on reversibility and FDA said it's not reversible.

Now when Keravision talks about it they have alternate words which imply reversibility. Of course the FDA cannot control the words reporters, patients, or doctors use.

Just one opinion,

Joe
