Unfortunatly scripture tells us not to expect improvement.
2Ti 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
Our response to such evil needs be clear. We need to reach our generation of lost with the Gospel.
2Ti 4:1-2 I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
We have the responsibility for this generation of souls. If our nation and world are not what we desire we must look inward and ask are we doing all we can to share the love of Messiah with a hurting world? Do we pray for our land and leaders? I admit to you Lord that I sometimes fail to remember this responsibility. I know Lord that if we repent you will be faithful.
2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Forgive Lord and help us.
