Pat, with the TAVA buy out of $8 in cash it sounds like if we hold until the conversion period we would be credited with $8 per share cash. I haven't waited on a buyout in the past, esp for cash, so I can't say for sure. At any rate I set my sell limit at GTC for 7 1/2 and will take less just so I can put the investment to work in something else. If it don't take then I will wait for a while for the cash out unless it looks to be too far out.

With a company like TAVA and its strong earnings there is always an outside chance that someone else may come in with a higher bid now that an offer has been made. However, TAVA may have already signed an agreement as I recall the news and would probably negate another offer.

Anyway it was nice having a positive surprise rather than a negative one for a change.

For a little stock with a nice chart and potential gainer, keep an eye on Moneteray Pasta (PSTA) as they are trying to break through resistance around 2 1/2. They have a 6 rating and earnings due 5/3, but could always come in early. I still like THQI if it starts closing above 24 to go with KSWS and WTSLA.
