Dan, You can not only talk about current day "tolerated crime". It is erroneous to say that crime is more prevalent because there is crime that goes unreported. Actually the opposite is true. In this current age, people are more willing to report rape, abuse, and other crimes because there is less stigma attached to it. A girl who got raped in the fifties was far less likely to report it than she would be today. People are also more likely to admit to sexual activity. It doesn't mean that it is happening more frequently, it just means there is more truth when they are asked the questions. Mark
