Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Signs Global Alliance
Agreement With J.D. Edwards
Relationship Will Provide Flexible ERP Solutions to Customers
Worldwide
DENVER and CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 20, 1999--Enterprise business software provider J.D. Edwards &
Company (Nasdaq:JDEC - news) announced today that Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (DTT) has signed a worldwide alliance
agreement with the Company to provide enterprise resource planning (ERP) consulting and implementation services to
mid-sized organizations.
Under the new agreement, DTT practices will provide consulting on business process reengineering, ERP software integration
and implementation, business case development, return on investment evaluation and overall project management to
middle-market companies in real estate, retail, manufacturing, distribution and consumer goods industries, among others.
DTT will use several tools to bring Idea to Action(TM) solutions to joint customers including the Express implementation
methodology, SolutionPrints industry best practice models and Value Print, implementation cost-benefit analysis and tracking
methodology, all announced during the launch of J.D. Edwards' Idea to Action initiative.
