Hall of Famer Joins AcuBid.com Advisory Board

that Hall of Famer Joe Morgan has joined our advisory board.
Morgan played professional baseball for 22 years and occupies a prominent position on the national stage in sports as
professional athlete, broadcaster, author, journalist, businessman and philanthropist.
Morgan was inducted into Baseball's Hall of Fame in 1990, his first year of eligibility. In a 1997 vote, the Baseball Writers
Associations of America recognized Morgan as one of the two greatest second basemen in history.
Morgan is currently a familiar voice on weekly baseball broadcasts for ESPN and the All Star Game, as well as the World
Series and League Championship Series for NBC Sports.
Morgan won an Emmy in 1998 for sports broadcasting and was called the best analyst in baseball by the Wall Street
Journal. In the past two years, Morgan has participated on nationally televised panel discussions with President Clinton and
other leaders to discuss diversity, race and sports. ''There may not be anyone alive who knows more about baseball than Joe

Morgan has written extensively about baseball and was the first broadcaster to write a weekly column on the Internet about
baseball.
Morgan is the founder of J.L. Morgan Enterprises Inc., which has joint venture relationships with Fortune 500 companies,
including Coors and Wendy's.
Morgan is also the founder of Joe Morgan Youth Foundation which was formed in 1982 ''to offer a strong and dependable
helping hand to prepare youth for a brighter tomorrow.'' The foundation has made numerous grants to youth-oriented
organizations throughout the country. The foundation's overhead, salaries and administrative expenses are paid personally by
Joe Morgan enabling all foundation contributions to reach intended youth benefactors. The foundation will also host its 15th
Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament this year to raise funds for its benefactors.
