NTV TURKISH NEWS TELEVISION IS FIRST BROADCASTER TO
USE C-PHONE SYSTEM FOR LIVE VIDEO FEEDS OF BREAKING

WILMINGTON, NC, April 21, 1999 -- NTV, Turkish News Television, is using
an innovative TV-based video conferencing solution from C-Phone Corporation
(NASDAQ: CFON) as a more efficient and cost-effective technique for
producing and relaying live news feeds from its correspondents in Europe and the
United States.
NTV, an all-news agency based in Istanbul, has been using C-Phone's DS-324
video communication systems to send live video, including interviews and other
news material, back to its main station for broadcast to viewers throughout
Turkey.
According to Jim Jarvis, C-Phone's vice president, sales and marketing, NTV's
use of the DS-324 system marks the first commercial use of C-Phone's
technology in the broadcasting industry.
