Welcome back, Judy; re: Schwab(cautionary tale); today, when thier system shut down, I was comfortably ensconced on my couch w/ laptop and trading; had some open limit orders; couldn't get thru on the phones, on hold for 1/2 hour, no way to make orders/changes so I had to drive over to Santa Rosa and beat on the Schwabbies; even then, they had to resort to paper tickets until the "alternate" system came up and I was able to get out of my daytrade positions. They told me about some ways to use other phone numbers to get thru(Platinum?) and I'll be checking them out. Fortunately, didn't lose but a few bucks,and they waived the commission on sales. I kept punching your name this week and only old posts; remembered you'd be away a week and I should apply some of your great lessons, and get on with it. Regards, James
