It is not surprising. Insider sales of the common, while not of unprecedented volume, do not take place in a vacumn. It is most often an "excuse by the Street" that sales have occurred during a period in which the stock had been trending down, while on the surface good news releases continue. This is, in most instances, is great cause for concern.
Coupled with the enormous capital expense required to develop and deliver the products involved to the marketplace, alongside other industry challenges, it should not surprise. The company is involved in an industry whose product cycles are too short in an environment of fast, exponential change, to expect an even, predictable operating environment producing consistent returns on invested capital. Technically, the stock had shown peculiar minute-by-minute trades, along with negative bid- and- ask share sizes, that this also raises cause for concern that the stock is somewhat under distribution. |
