Good discussion on the "Gorilla and King portfolio candidates" thread. I had rather not go into OT details here on QCOM, but they are a baby gorilla with patents on CDMA technology for wireless networks. They just won a law suit with Ericson, which is causing the blowout and giving them a virtual monopoly in CDMA intellectual property. They have only just begun their run.
