Yorkton's downgrade means nothing. Nasdaq is an exchange where millions of investors overseas place their money along with Americans. Therefore, US Brokerages carry a great deal of weight. Ofcourse they have international operatins too and every Tom, Chang, Jean Paul and Ahmad has heard of them. Canada's overseas investors will surely be concerned....both of them. LOL. Noone cares what a Canadian Bank has to say unless it is in conjunction with a US company, like maybe Oppenheimer or Waterhouse. Canada Trust, Yorkton, and the shop keeper down the street from me all fall in the same category....nobody cares what they think except the few guys that they have exposure to that might just be stupid enough to take them seriously. No offense to any shop keepers on this thread...i just merely meant to make a point. To Canada Trust, Yorkton and the rest of you Mom and Pop Canadian banks....offence.
