Pfeiffer tenure at Compaq should be judged in its entirety....having said that, the timing of his comments today was absurd, and, IMO, deplayed a lack of class.....he should have just said "no comment"... Pfeiffer is in a serious case of denial...it has been going on for while.... That's OK if he keeps it to himself..when he started involving Compaq's shareholders....that can't not be allowed...and it happened more than once......the board did the right thing... He should think about how lucky he is (hundreds of millions), and keep his yap shut, IMO... Sorry, I don't like whiners...
