Bruce,

Taxes are not an issue re: my SEPR position since its in a retirement account. Not sure if I'd a done this if taxes applied.

The conservative bull spreads I did on SEPR April calls paid off quite handsomely, thank you. Made about 80% profit after transaction costs with little downside risk.

SEPR's drug development is taking a lot slower than initially predicted, with the only exception being Claritin II (DCL). Their first wholly owned drug is not as good as they have claimed. Their first licensed drug (Allegra) is stuck on terminal hold. For the blockbuster deals they have signed up, we now have a cloud overhead due to the FTC reviewing them for anti-competitive behavior. I just have a hard time seeing all this and still saying the company's worth > $3.5 billion.

I have found a nice boring earnings company to bury my money from the SEPR sells in. I will gladly take my pissy little 15% per year growth from that stock and not have to look at all the gyrations.
