"Emile, I cannot match your biblical knowledge but practically will agree. Israeli economic policies are driving Arab Christians from the Holy Land. This is too bad as the Arab Christians are a voice of moderation in the numerous disputes in the area...."

Doug,
While doing research I ran across this post. I deeply appreciate the sense of Christians justice and fairness towards the Arab Christians in Palestine. This perspective is sorely lacking in many Christian Zionist who give carte blanche to Israeli policies.
Many fundamentalist view modern Israel as the fulfillment of God. Because modern Judaism and Zionism are virulent opponents of Christ and his Church, I view modern antichrist Judaism and their establishment of an antichrist government in Israel as a false hope and satanic diversion from Christ and his Church. Christ has already fulfilled the prophecies that Zionist Christians use to justify their support of modern Israel. God has only ONE Kingdom, and that Kingdom is founded upon the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Christ. Raising this reality rankles many dispensationalist and causes a deep root of bitterness to erupt from the depth of their being.

In Christ

Emile
