Hi everyone:
Thank you terri for the quick update...
"Regardless of where the stock price is today or tomorrow or next month, this company is for real and the investment community will come on board soon. The marketing and exposure is happening now..."
I couldn't agree more. The IBE today is the beginning of a marketing push to bring awareness to businesses around the world, the FOCUS is on bringing awareness to potential subscribers, not investors. After all, this is a Webtool for businessmen to find potential partners and facilitate efficient transaction across international borders; not a Webtool for investors to make a quick buck. Therefore, IMHO, price drop today should not be a cause for an alarm. Instead of stock price increase due to today's effort, I expect increase in subscriber sign-up.
Because we are already invested in this stock, we, therefore, were very excited about today's IBE conference. We glued ourselves to the computer monitor watching the Netcast. Everything was impressive but.... well... I doubt any potential new investors were even aware of today's IBE conference at all! Even if some of them were aware of the show today, I doubt if many of them would even bother to check out the show. Unless our money is on the line, it is difficult to prioritize our daily schedule just to watch a "boring" international business expo... not to mention many other priorities that some are procrastinating...
However, people in the import/export businesses will have more motivation to watch the shows and learn more about this new exciting Webtool. Since their bread and butter is depended on finding way to cut cost and increase profitability, I expect today's show will entice more potential subscribers to sign-up. This is what really count from today's effort.
The continuing marketing effort by PNL's management will, IMHO, focusing only on this area- increase awareness of the Webtool to potential businesses around the world. The investment community will have to take a second seat and watch the business of PNLK unfolds. Any positive results coming from the marketing effort will then indirectly affect the stock price by way of PR or word of mouths.
Therefore, I agree with many of the posters that the future of PNLK has yet to begin. Today price action showed lack of interest because the FOCUS was not on the potential investors but on the potential subscribers. Only time will tell how PNL will do in the future.
Has anyone read the book below about AOL?
aol.com: How Steve Case Beat Bill Gates, Nailed the Netheads, and Made Millions in the War for the Web by Kara Swisher
I read it awhile back and it gave some good revelations about the beginning turbulent years AOL had to weather before it became successful. Bottom line is that nothing come easy. After all, many of us have already weathered one year of turbulence...
And as I said many times before, I will wait for PNL management to continue its business plan and watch the story unfolds. So far, from May of last year, the story has unfolded quite well already... don't you think so?
Good Luck to all of us on this PNLK journey...
Again, all the above is my opinion only.

And
Prosperity to ALL!
