Michael Dell once said that if Compaq fails to
flawlessly execute the assimilation of DEC that
it would be like handing us (Dell) the keys to the
kingdom.

Add finding a new CEO and CFO who will likely want to
implement sweeping changes to the agenda.

So, today, if you were a business purchasing manager
teetering on a decision between CPQ or Dell as being
you main hardware supplier, which company do ya think
would offer more stability?

Dell could see a surge in orders over the next few
quarters.
