Thanks for the help! The reason I ask, is because you seem to be doing very well since atleast late September, when most of the technology sector began to fall. I have learned a great deal about the market in my seven months or so of studying it (I believe that I have the knowledge equal to many good brokers, but I still have the experience of someone who has been following the market for only seven months). Currently, my (father's) broker has been basically done nothing for us except take market orders. We don't value his opinion, because he knows nothing about any stocks outside of the homebuilding/steel (that sort of thing) area. (I have had to explain to him what companies like MSFT and INTC do!) We are looking to move, but so far the problem is that he has been my dad's broker for many years now (before I got into the market), and he can be considered a friend of the family. As it looks right now, we will move to OLDE, but we want to make sure that we talk to as many good brokers as we can, so we can open multiple accounts in order to get a broader perspective.
