You mean, I suppose, that all TV cameramen don't care about the good, being mere artisans and not artists. I suppose you are a lady of the pen and have much experience with TV cameramen. Most of those I have known work under direction of the reporter or producer. I recall an occasion when I was leading a local protest against the Justice Department and we showed up early at the U.S. Attorney's office (Cecil Poole in San Francisco in the early 60's). The cameras had not arrived (very bulky in those days). We had coffee and were quite civilized while we waited for the cameras. When they arrived the TV honcho directed me to shake my fist in Poole's face, which, of course, I did. They shot the scene of hot protest, and then all of us had another round of coffee, that universal business solvent. A protest made for television. Neither a reporter or a cameraman can tell the unvarnished truth.
