Ron,

I would agree that well-selected individual companies, particularly in HK-China, could easily generate superior returns, if the person selecting them has access to adequate information, which isn't always easy. If we're talking about overall indices, I'm a little less positive. I still feel that Japan has to pass through one more crisis point, and that the influence of that could easily drag others down.

FWIW, I was saying that 9 months ago, and I'm a good deal less certain of it now than I was then.
