Just a rookie learning to play the market which is hard enough. Income tax? Yikes, Don't a have friggen clue. Was wondering if you guys could help? Average Joe, wife and kids. Capital gains for 98 and a few bonehead loses already in 99. Other write-offs? Brokerage fees? Sorry if this a stupid question, but I'm just an idiot at heart. TIA
