qwerty911 - OTOT**<I begged for a 486 everyday until I got it> Actually, I used to be quite impressed with the technology, specifically, the graphics, circa mid eighties. Unfortunately for Apple, neither I, nor my boss (I did not work for INTC) at the time wanted to fork over $5k for the system I was drooling over. IMO, Apple could have had a much different future with a slightly less premium based business plan. I believe this to be a function of the ego of Mr. Jobs. I find all the Intel bashing on price quite ironic. I wanted an Apple, but it was too expensive. Where would we have been without INTC, paying Steve J. $5k a system? PB
