I love how you claim Iridium is a monopoly and is only effective where cellular isn't. Kinda a contradiction in terms, eh? How much do you really think of the Northwest Territories are going to be covered by anything but Iridium? No cell coverage. There's nothing to stop mining companies from using iridium phones. You're being absurd here. And none of this supports your assertion that the company is a failure, only shows that you don't understand the market. Your assertion that Iridium needs to switch to CDMA to be profitable shows that you don't understand CDMA or TDMA or the real issues that make life difficult for Iridium. I can understand how you've fallen in love with spread spectrum. Its a great technology, but you guys (and there's a group of you) run around spouting about how its the next coming when every telecom professional who's been around very long knows that it has failed to live up to a tenth of its initial hype. Doesn't mean its not good, but the predictions have been disproven and the religious mania is annoying. Dragonfly
