Just yesterday, the company repeated for the umpteenth time, "we have no products for sale." "Our research prototype batteries meet some of the exacting standards of the market."

Why would the company deliberately mislead investors by making such comments if they were not true? Particularly when they need to sell some stock and would like to do so at the highest price possible? Why would they shoot themselves in the foot?

Of course, there is the possibility that their filings are simply the truth. IMO, they keep repeating the truth over and over in their SEC filings to ensure that their butts are covered because of all of the internet hype about "imminent contracts."
