Why does it take Amzn so long to report?? Well its probably due to their closed door meetings. They have about a dozen of the key elephants analyst's that they have to bring up to Seattle to give them the scoop before they tell the public. So it's quite an ordeal coordinating all this travel. But, they have to do this so they can achieve a unanimous strong buy. The last "Thing" they want is having just one of those elephants analyst's miss that closed door meeting. Can you imagine what investors would do if it was reported that one of those analysts was to come out with a "I don't know"? Then everyone would have to call Forrester research because they're the only entity that really does know, what's going to happen by 2010.
