THC : If you believe those stories then I'm afraid you deserve to lose your money. Sorry.
When some REAL person gives you a written guarantee that he will, under any circumstances, exchange the bit of paper he gave you for the fiat money, which you despise, then I would say go ahead. And even then, I can't see the point of it. What the egold boys are, in fact, doing is issuing you a promissory note against your dreams. There's no guarantee.
Furthermore, to function as a bank, as they are, requires a charter and approval of some government. I don't see it. There are actually laws which govern this kind of thing. And don't, for a moment, believe they are in the US. They could even be on a yacht, somewhere.
As it is, you don't know who these guys are, where they are, or even if they are doing what they say they are doing. All you see is writing on your computer screen which vanishes when you switch it off. As they can.
