Darrell-

<<A "New World Order" based on diminished or obliterated national sovereignty of all nations is unacceptable by any standard>>

Not by mine. I think the concept of a nation state- a rather recent arrival in human history- is a rather artificial one. It's not clear to me that it's been a net benefit. My loyalties are not to a state. They may be to a civilization- they most certainly are to my friends. But a political boundary does not inspire my devotion.

BTW, I think one of the major contributions of laissez-faire capitalism is that in transcends- and even diminishes the importance of- national boundaries. All to the good, IMO. Of course, I am suspicious of world government- or any government for that matter. A world government with the likes of Billary at its helm is enough to make my spine shiver!
