I have no position in IOMG, but I'd just like to throw out this idea for discussion:

Given that the universal PC is under price pressure, and one of the ways to drop prices is keep the number of components down, how likely is it that standard PCs will move to Zip drives instead of floppies? In the short term, isn't the trend toward writeable CDROM/DVD as common denominator for consumer devices?

And in the far future (a decade or so) will universal wireless or cable connectivity remove the need for local storage altogether, except perhaps for one key means of identifying the user so this ID can be used to access and unlock all stored data owned by the user?

I think the Zip's a great product, but I'm not sure this evolutionary track leads to a mammoth company as the stock price implies. Don't hit me, I'm just a poor ignorant skeptic!
