You did NOT get up on a soapbox, silly AR! You gave excellent advice! I think sometimes it's very hard to stay steady, especially when you're reading about what's working for others and how they're getting rich. Exclamation points especially drive me up the wall--- that and people who scream, "I CAN"T BELIEVE AOL,AMZN, YHOO, EMC, fill in the blank!!!!! Neither can I-- that's why I'm scared of them. And if they can't believe it, why are they buying it?? Seeing the look on some faces Monday as the techs plummeted reminded me why I haven't the stomach for the risks of this market. Yes, I'm missing money. Yes, I may be really wrong and they may all be visionaries, but with two entering college, I can't afford to be wrong on the risk side. So-thanks for the reminder- it's getting awfully hard sometimes. |
