IBM's earnings don't tell us anymore than those of MSFT's both surprised by +10% and both wee up circa 40+ % from the year prior. The difference is that MSFT made some cautionary remarks whereas IBM did not.The peculiar thing is that IBM went up MSFT went down. Further underscoring the anomolous divergence is the fact that MSFT has 2 explosive products coming on stream (IBM has?) and that MSFT is avery big player on the net (IBM is ?). Another oddity ids that RNWK is up by zillions wit no earnings and MSFT has Media Player built into its OS. Media player works seamlessly and in my opinion performs better than Real Player. The conclusion of the matter is that this market doesn't see the bird's nets on the ground that is represented by MSFT at these prices. JFD
