"Apply the growth stated". Very truthful, Les. Wouldn't "Apply the growth assumed" be a bit more accurate? You can assume your way out of a lot of stuff, if you assume arbitrary budget cuts that were never actually even proposed. Who cares, anyway. I know the shrine to Reagan web site makes good reading for the idolators, but I doubt many real historians would bother with this kind of "historical" argument.
