Hi Stuart, I've seen the the Swift canoes at the Paddlesport Show here in Ottawa. I'm pretty sure that they are handling the Turtleworks paddles that are made by someone up my way in eastern Ontario. Anyhow, I think you'll like that canoe... and if you read back through this thread at all, you'll see that I bought a 15 foot Prospector made of kevlar-Carbonlite last year. It's from Langford Canoe at Dwight, on the edge of Algonquin. I ordered the one trimmed with ash and dark cherry... it's just great... nice and light. I paddle solo with my Collie onboard (she's not much help portaging or at loading or unloading), so I appreciate the lightness. Also a very tough canoe, but can be scratched...so I still try to avoid obvious rocks. Sounds like you paddle in some great locations. Haven't been up to Temagami yet, but it's on my "must do" list... (-: Glad you came over to the thread.
