Hope the $ 5 bln funds a acquisition , came from selling its IP network >> " What's the $5B for, and how much will flow to the bottom line?" >> The numbers may have been in 1Q's report . The $ 5 bln payment was deferred to 2Q and there is a on-going contractual relationship wherein IBM earns more ($ 4 to $6 bln ?) revenue from A T & T . LVG is on record from last April/May stating IBM will not buy a hardware company for a year . It's like my boat , even after winning it , I never got it . You just never know . Jim K.
