Let there be no mistake Mark, What is going on in this country is not an over-night kind of event, or one time act of violence. It is a very fast growing trend. A product indeed, of the brain child of the 60's as a matter of fact.
In the 40's and 50's the #1 discipline problem in schools, was talking in class!!
The #2 was chewing gum.
All the way down the list...nothing more violent that pulling a girl's hair, or aiming spit balls at a rival. Really just kid stuff...even in high school.
In the 60's class monitors (Other students) were a popular method of keeping order while moving from class to class among Jr. high and high schoolers. If a monitor saw a student running in the hallway that student's name was sent to the assistant principal. If a student got his/her name on the section sheet 2x in one week, the parents were called in for a conference.
Public schools in the 30's 40's, 50's and part of the 60's taught almost as much of God as did the private schools...I know, I went to both. My 7th grade public school home room teacher started off each day with a psalm or proverb. My 8th and 9th grade music teachers both taught us (a room of more than 80 students per class) songs of worship, that did in fact also speak wonderful teachings of Jesus the Christ....And nobody ran to the ACLU or any other "Let's get God out of this country" mentality type group.
You know what violence was in the school environment in the 40's 50's 60's....Pulling a girls pony tail or braids. On a very violent day you might catch a view of a fist fight down the block away from school property.
So we went from class monitors (other students) in the 60's, to armed guards, and city police assigned to school districts to SWAT teams in full gear, putting their lives on the line to save school kids lives!!
Yes Mark you are right to a great degree,this type of violence and it's frequency is not an over-night phenomenon. It's a steady growing pattern, which was easily predicted by many in the mid 60's. Now it is here, full blown in our faces. And ignorant people are still talking about gun control!!
Maybe we should close down all hardware stores...since that is where all pipe bomb materials can be purchased. And how about the Internet? Maybe we should make all computers illegal. Or just control it in a way that would make it very difficult for a citizen to buy one. You know, 400 forms to be filled out and a 7 day waiting period...something reasonable like that...no big deal.! And let's not forget kitchen, butcher,and surgical type knives....If we had Fed.controls on them everyone of Jack the ripper's victims might have lived a full life, and most of Dahmer's victims too.
It is beyond absurd for anyone in this country to believe that, even if we were able to gather all the guns in the world and drop them in the ocean, all murders would stop!! Even if by some phenomenal phenomenon they did....Abortions are still legal! I say that Just a side note.
30 yrs ago Mark, when you were yet just a toddler, the the wise ones in this country declared that, God our most loving Father, Father of all grace, love, and mercy, should be taken out of our school system... They shouted in unison!!:let it be written, Let it be done! And so it was. And so here we are! And that void was filled with evil and viloence, and there is no need to tell you who the father of those two entities are.
Mark, murder is in the heart....not the weapon.!

BTW Mark, did you know that these two kids were known around the school for being anti-God? Did you also know that they were into satan worship? And did you also know that in one of the classrooms they asked the question, who in here has faith in Jesus Christ? And when a couple of sophomores stood up.....they were gunned down!!? They were murderded for being a Christian!! Did you know that mark? Gun control??,.... Gun Control Mark,would not have controlled the hate in their hearts!
We need God back in America!!!!!
