and to which 3G are you referring? CDMA2000, WCDMA or just the new "CDMA"? Certainly cost is still a factor, as is capability and switching from current GSM to the "right" 3G. I didn't realize that ERICY was obligated to consistently use QCOM's 3G version; three modes are still the modus operandi/ the terms of which are still being discussed (from what I read).

Ericsson did not buy Qualcomm's infrastructure division in order to do some minority version of CDMA.
