Thing is Jaimie ; I can't get in and out real time like on paper, and the spread skews just about the time I want to trade, I give a lot more money away on spreads than I do commissions, it's rare to get out on the high / or in on the Low, the specialist get those positions. So knee jerk trading don't work all that well for me, I want to see the Short & the Mid term signals saying the same thing. As short term signals are for people who can trade on level II systems, or go to a SOES bandit room. It's just to hard to play them via the internet and not have the spread get you both ways, then if you miss one or two you got to work like hell to make it back. I like a short term signal, but also need a 3 to 5 day feel to match just for the sake of safty..it's that mid term signal saying down and the short term one saying up, that causes me to sit on the fence. -------------------------------- I think internet trading if a person goes to just daytrading and not position trading that in the long run they will lose, I may do a daytrade but anymore when I open it I have in mind at least 3 days out, or I pass. --------------- Before I started with stocks I hung out at a race track, and the dudes who bet every race were the big losers. I learned then to bet only good races , and then only when the crowd left me some good odds on the tote board. It's more an odds game with me, while I have a feel for the odds ; I know I'm not up to explaining how I see em . Well any way I got two winners in a row so I'm feeling better and I'll let her churn a bit till the short and mid term line up. Jim
