Yeah, that's his thing. I don't mind he uses it to make a point or example about guns, or abortion or what ever we happen to be discussing. Its ok, I see clintonian politics as having the same exempliary application to just about any debate.

Personally I don't like gays with an attitude. I don't like anybody with an attitude so that's not saying much. But usually I can't label and sterio type the group with an attitude. Gays with an attitude tend to attach it to politics, gay movement, etc. and confront you with a lot of negativism just because you're not one of them (ex. lori coey). I don't feel its something I need to be confronted over, so it ticks me off when somebody always wants to be "in my face" with their attitude about it.

Otherwise, I am obligated to be kind to other people as a normal course of events. On the other hand when obviously gay men or a heterosexual woman that I am not married to is being nice to me, I have to take stock and determine 1) Is this flirtation? If I think it is I have to make it clear I am not interested. 2) Is it just being polite and considerate? If so, I am obligated to return kindness with kindness.
